Old Town Baking Company Bread

I had a beautiful accident last week, when I stumbled across a local farmers market that was selling freshly baked breads from THE OLD TOWN BAKING COMPANY.

I spoke with the vendor and asked him what his favorite bread was and he said the Rosemary Garlic Sourdough. I asked him what was his best selling bread and he said the Jalapeno Cheddar Cheese and the Cinnamon Swirl French Toast were two of his top sellers. I took one of each!

French toast is always on the list for preferred breakfasts in our home. It was an easy decision to use the Cinnamon Swirl French Toast bread to make yummy French toast. Look at how beautiful these French toast came out before we dressed them with maple syrup, whip cream and berries. The bread held up nicely and the flavors were perfect.

Lunch was a Tuna Melt on the Jalapeno Cheddar Cheese bread. The pieces of jalapeno that you get when you bite into the sandwich are delicious. Since we added two slices of Tillamook Sharp Cheddar per sandwich, I can sincerely tell you that this Tuna melt was out of this world.

Next on the list was making Lasagna for dinner which we paired with the Rosemary Garlic Sourdough bread. Can you say delicious! The chunks of Garlic and the fragrance of Rosemary are a perfect combination. Lather the bread with some butter, more garlic, a sprinkle of Basil and some Parmesan and broil it,Yum.. Yum.. Yum..
